I think I know what you're talking about. That's pretty much how I think too; partially verbal, partially in the abstract, but not so much visually. I usually have to make a conscious effort to actually visualize things (except when I'm daydreaming).
I'm similar. I would say it is like 70% feeling(not really audio or visual). I use that when driving, walking, most programming, etc... 10% visual(for browsing stores, finding new routes, trying to describe things, reenforcing learning, etc...) And about 20% audio.(planning out what to say, remembering what was said, learning vocabulary, and, unfortunately, usually reading and math).
