Sometimes, I am weird. I talk spontaneously in abstract ways. In occasions, people are confused when I speak online abstractly. I'm 25 years old, and I watch Sofia the First, read fiction books, and spend somewhat times on YouTube to escape boredom. Is that weird?
I didn't even know what "Sofia the First" was. Had to Google it. Ohhh, yeah, that's a little weird but hey, you're on Wrong Planet. You're in the right place, where you're surrounded by other weird people. I enjoy being different. I've never been a crowd follower. The crowd will be over there and I'll be over here probably patting a cat.
Never been into fiction. Always read technical/information/encyclopedias, etc. Now we've got the Internet.
I don't think reading fiction is particularly weird or indicative of AS.
Using YouTube (the Internet in general) to alleviate boredom also isn't particularly weird. In fact, I think it's quite universally carried out by NT's as well as Aspies for all sorts of reasons - especially to counter boredom.
Personally, I never get bored. My Special Interests see to that. I live on my own and ALL of my time is MY OWN. I cherish it and hate having to go back out into the world. People can't understand this and think there's something wrong with me but I don't care. But it is weird and not considered normal behavior. People are constantly telling me, humans are social creatures. Not this little black duck!
In summary, I don't think you're weird from the examples you've given.
Rocking at my desk at work, now that's weird but I do it. I don't care!
