So my best friend we typically talk often. If not on phone then usually a couple messages on Facebook. Lately she has been not reading or ignoring or forgetting my messages. She was busy before the new year and at times she turned off her phone to not be bothered by her job on her days off.

My thinking is we are friends and we still talk so why ignore the entire world? I haven't spoken to her in almost two weeks which is very unusual.

I'm not sure what to think.

She could literally be extremely busy and/or being bothered by something.

If it goes another week, call her and leave a message if she doesn't answer.
just make sure if you leave a message, it is one of concern.

I wouldn't wait any longer. Maybe, text her? Write something "light", like: "Hey you, missing communicating with you. How's everything?".

If the person claimed to be your "best friend," use the term "best friend" in your next text to the person. Say something like "Best friends don't just disappear on you! What's going on?"
