i love the smell of print especially fresh print on high quality paper its kindof compulsive if i see a nice book il ram my nose into the pages and have a good sniff, with games for example an xbox game i will sniff the manual and inbetween the case and the plastic film on the outside, then the disk, i love the smell of disks?!

i also hate the smell of mint and the whole idea of chewing it ( i hate the word chewing it makes me think of a 1980s vacuum cleaner with puke and urine all over it) why would someone want to bite and suck something which will inevitably collect some form of plaque, bacteria from your mouth, then blow a bubble! just because you cant see the very tiny specs of bacteria on the gum doesent mean i cant! daaamn! also playing with it with your hands, thats like brushing your teeth and spitting the toothpaste onto your fingers then sucking it off!!

another thing that has always puzzled me is that most people seem to think if you take a drink from a bottle or cup there wont be any saliva in the drink afterwords, this goes against physics, if you tilt your head put a drink to your mouth the liquid flows in to your mouth, as you tilt your head back down the flow of liquid changes direction and some of the liquid that has already made contact with your saliva will flow backwards into the bottle, ive used to be awkward about drinking from another persons bottle or eating with their cutlery but i have got past it now, i wont ever lick another persons ice cream

That vacuum thing made me laugh, but I never go a day without chewing gum.

Whenever I drink a bottle, whether or not someone else will be drinking out of it, I make sure it never touches my lips. I always get it over myself but whatever.

OMG I never thought anyone would have the same strange behaviours as me in term of smell! I seem to be obsessed with it sometimes, especially with shiny page books and magazines, after touching them I have to smell my hands and often smell the pages too occasionally to the point where someone asks me what I'm doing! I have always smelled weird things I think, one vivid memory from years ago is walking up to a telegraph pole to smell it, when I was in a phase where I smelt EVERYTHING.

I also despise chewing gum, it is so disgusting and distracting, people look like cows when eating it in my opinion. Usually I automatically hate someone if I see them and can think less of a friend if they offer me any. Eurgh.

Not too bothered about drinks and ice cream unless the person is ill or has gobbed all over the item in question, I sometimes feel hurt if they wipe things like bottles after I use them cos I feel there must be something wrong with me. But I rarely share things like that unless I really need to and usually refuse.

Yeah, fresh print is nice. Strong, fresh smells seem to be popular among us. Gas is another big favorite.

I don't see the difference between the bits of plaque being on the gum and being on your teeth. They're still in your mouth either way; at least this way when you chew/spit the gum out you're cleaning your mouth a bit.

Playing with gum with your hands, though? Yeah, that's a little gross. You don't know what kinds of nasty stuff might be on your hands! I don't think I've ever seen anybody do that before.

I don't think that it's that they think that, it's just that they don't care. As for sharing food, I think it all depends on who you're sharing it with. I'm not a fan of getting my own saliva back in my mouth after it's left, so I'm more comfortable eating after my girlfriend than after myself. With her, though, I have no qualms at all about it.
