You should call your psychiatrist or social worker soon as possible. I know you don't want to go to A&E. In the meantime, take deep breaths and try to relax

I am UK time so it was 03:39 when I made that post.

I am a lot calmer now as I applied deep pressure and took clonazepam.

I am seeing my social worker today at 12:30pm. I will ask her if my psychiatrist will change me to quetiapine today. I'm seeing my psychiatrist next week as I'm changing from olanzapine to quetiapine, but I'm not sure if I can wait.

I am considering to take clonazepam daily until I go on quetiapine. Olanzpaine has stopped working.

Thanks.

So glad you are feeling better. That's an awful thing to go through. I've had manic episodes like that and feel like I'm a balloon that's ready to pop and also like an out of control freight train.

Ezra - that's good to hear that I'm not alone in this.

Are manic episodes part of autism?

I took clonazepam this morning and am seeing my social worker today. My support worker is taking me there.

Do you think me doing deep pressure more often would help? My larger weighted blanket is arriving this week.

It's good that you're better.
I never had a meltdown like this one, but if i'm having any anxiety attack deep pressure on a room with low light (or completely dark) and silence (or with some relaxing music) can help me a lot.
You should try the deep pressure more often and see the results, if it already helped you once it could be a good technic for you.
