Autistics are being treated very poorly in the social media often refered as [insert bad word]. What exactly do they have against us? We are all human beings and these neurological differences are unessential for further discussion, it makes the matter worse.
Scrolling through youtube comments and all I see is commenters using the term "Autistic" in a discriminating context, often to discribe undesired (annoying, stupid, etc) inviduals.
So what exactly do they dislike about us?
If you look up any group of people on the internet you are bound to find plenty of nasty things about 'those people', even get pissed off and then end up sort of seeking out more negativity directed at that group so it seems much more overbearing...I guess my point is over all I don't really see people with autism specifically being treated any poorer than many other specific groups on the internet there is plenty of negativity and mean spirited stuff directed at plenty of other categories of people online. Also which youtube videos....videos that pertain to autism? or just any and all videos you are commonly seeing 'autistic' used as an insult because I personally have not seen a lot of that...except specifically on videos that pertain to autism where people know they can get a rise out of people by posting trollish stuff in the comments.
Oh and stay OFF of twitter!.....maybe you don't go there but more often than not when someone starts on about 'people on the internet are saying this and that about so and so or some group of people' they have been frequenting twitter over the past few hours/days/weeks/months, seems like a cesspool of drama and negativity not sure why people go there....seems to bring people so much unhappiness and pettiness. Well not to mention its not even as fancy as facebook just a bunch of ongoing text talk that looks hard to follow and mostly consists of drama and b*tching from what I have observed.
