I feel like I am going to go insane, although: I would go insane for the Humanities especially Philosophy! Just think what fun it would be to Psychoschematically go insane for Humanities, I wish I lost my marbles right now!

Just remember what Aristotle said about moderation in The Nicomachean Ethics:

"with respect to acting in the face of danger,
courage is a mean between
the excess of rashness and the deficiency of cowardice;

with respect to the enjoyment of pleasures,
temperance is a mean between
the excess of intemperance and the deficiency of insensibility;

with respect to spending money,
generosity is a mean between
the excess of wastefulness and the deficiency of stinginess;

with respect to relations with strangers,
being friendly is a mean between
the excess of being ingratiating and the deficiency of being surly"

with respect to moderation,
occasional lapses are a mean between
the excess of being a total bore and the deficiency of fanaticism
(OK, so I just made up that last part myself) :wink:

I seem to naturally be constantly philosophising, but have yet to actually read the material in any depth... not sure I would know where to begin although I have saved some links a while ago. Several people have mentioned I seem to be a sort of philosopher, but I do not tend to write anything down, I just think it, maybe mention it to someone, then allow it to drift to the back of my mind lol.

The long road to philosophy, is the dirt road ridden with pebbles. Those that invent the wheel can reach their destination.
