GP tries to solve all my life's problems in fifteen mins...
It's still bothering me days later, probably because of the reminder that my life could probably be defined as pathetic... but it was amusing at the time, because this was a GP I've never before talked to... and prominently seemed to think that I can do a degree living somewhere whose neighbours I can hear every step of (in a shared house). What's wrong with people?! I can't even damn breathe peacefully if I can hear all of someone's footsteps, let alone concentrate enough to do assignments and theses!
I hate the fact everything's so unfair, though, because the education system is specifically set up for those who happen to have supporting parents... and it's just annoying, because by default it's random, so they should really cater for the worst possible, because in a chaotic universe that's not as rare... but, even social services don't cater for the worst possible, so...
