What do you think of the show?

I love the show I loved it when I was little and She is very eccentric and as Kraftiekortie says she is a quirky young girl. She has a great heart and a bright girl but gets into trouble occasionally. She loves helping her friends and just being herself.

I used to watch it back in the 1980s. I was in my 20's at the time. I always liked her.

I remember liking the live-action version when it was new; but lost interest when the animated version came out.

Soliel Moon Fry (sp?) was an exceptionally vivacious child actress. I wonder what happened to her?

I watched it somewhat regularly when I was a kid.

I actually have the whole series on dvd... One of my favorites!

Soliel Moon Frye has done some voice acting, but not a lot lately...

I would watch it when I was a kid. Being born in 1980, I was around when it was airing. I liked it and would probably watch it now if it were on. ^^ I like a lot of 80's sitcoms. The 90's and on saw a decline in that genre for me.

I have to wonder if the originators of this show weren't actually trying to pitch a cartoon fantasy set in Old Persia - "The Rooster of Ponquib" - and the studio execs heard "The Ponquib Rooster". By the time it got through the writing staff, it was a story about an orphaned girl and her dog living with a grumpy old man, instead of a wandering minstrel rooster telling stories about orphans, dogs, and grumpy old men ...

It's too early in the morning. I need some coffee.
