I've never done anything like this & I at least need to know if I can afford it. I've been looking around for coaching services in my area & really haven't found anything. Does anyone have any ideas for at least some budgeting help?

Thanks.

Yeah..

First, figure out how much money you have & how much you'll have coming in on a regular basis.

Second, figure out how much it will cost you to live in this proposed situation.

Compare the two figures & determine whether you can afford it or not.

Obviously you have to figure out what being able to "afford it" means to you. Does that mean what comes in goes out in prefect balance? Or do you need $100/month extra wiggle room? Or do you need $1000/month extra funds to make sure you're still saving & investing in addition to covering your monthly expenses? Only you can decide what's an ideal budgeting scenario for you. Personally, I would Not want to be living completely paycheque to paycheque and would want to ensure I had more coming in than going out.

i've done most of that. i was mainly wondering if i missed anything. i talked to someone & apparently, i wasn't really leaving things out. i'd have a little left over- maybe $230ish. He told me to go ahead with it. What exactly are you investing in that you're getting ripped off from.?

Do you really want this or are you being peer pressured into doing it?

No. He's not pressuring me into anything.

Possibly the worst situation is living with someone you want to get away from, but you lack the funds to move out. Thus you become trapped. Highly recommended to have enough saved up for a new apartment plus funds for a move, if things don't work out.

Um, nothing.

Why would I invest in something I thought was a rip off? :?
