How YOUNG is you very First memory
-My very first memory that I can STILL remember was some where between the age of 1 and 2....
being bymyself in the backyard starring out into the open expanse, it was a windy day, the back gate was made out of 'square'corrugate, it had one 45 degree support brace loose on the left gate at the bottom notch on the top support... I was watching it flap.
My more vivid second memory is my brothers birht in the hospital... starting......
I was suspended my my farther nad we were at the baby nursery window... he was I think pionting out my brother amongst the other babies.
My third memory - the one I hat most....starting.... out the front of the church, my farther behind me, my mother don't know, my unlce and and aunt opposite me, my mother wlks into veiw holding my brother on the left. My ucle passes over a toy van toward my brother, I reach forthe toy like a spoiled brat, not saying anything, and then saying I want it when I get my cue,, my uncle shrugged it away from me ,and said something which I understood to be me not having it... I turned around with my dad still standing behing me... I don't remember the tantrum,,, the next memory is me holding the car with tears drying up and my heart beat in turmoil.... I have still got the car,,, I try not to touch it to this day.
My first memory is somewhere between one and two. I was in my crib looking out through the bars and my mom was vaccuuming. I remember wanting out of there and trying to climb out to get a toy. Just when I'm falling over the side, she catches me, spanks me and puts me back.
My next memory, I think, was at two when I said a cuss word after my mom and she smacked me and knocked me off my feet. I won't cuss in front of her (nor will my brothers) to this day.
I remember sitting at the top of the stairs at two and watching my mother taking my brothers to the park. I had a meltdown because I wanted to go as well and my dad came to get me. He took me outside, started up the tractor and let me pretend to drive.
I also remember at two one of my older brothers deciding he wasnt going to school. He had on one of those pale blue snow suits kids wore back then (like the one the kid wears in a Christmas Story). My mom grabbed his arm and hauled him out of the house. He starts screaming and just falls to the ground, so she pulls him by his arm across the lawn and our driveway, picks him up in one arm and puts him on the bus. None of us ever said we weren't going to school after that unless we were deathly sick.
I don't know, I have lots of memories from back then. I can even remember what our couch felt, the exact color and where it was in the living room. I have very detailed memories.

I wish I could remmeber breasts!! !!
Nah seriously - Yeah I frogot mine,, I think I knew what it was at about five,,, untill the gate one became my last memory,,,, now today at 28, the gate one is faining... I'm sure I knew how I got thier - ohhh it's coming too me... I have an earlier one!
It was inside the house, it was dark,, that typical 60's drapery was covering the windows....I hated the carpet in this room,, it had a tangerine colour, an it was the stale fluffy kind.. the funriture was, dark and felt like it was sucking the aurae out of me. - I was standing,,, I think I was actually outside the room and hadn't crossed over to the carpet.
Can anyone one remmeber anything before pacifier days.... I sort of have a faint 'memoy/'feeling' of being force fed the pacifier....my mum to this day looks at other mums and just says to herslef - why don't you just use your fingers.
I am pretty sure, just lie Steve that I remeber as far bakc as being in he hospital at birth (though it could have been my parents taking me back for something) --I wreckon aspies have their 'Problems' becuase they can remmeber so early.,,,therfore cuasing sencory overload.
Here's an earlier one. I remember staring up at my mother while I was nursing and she never looked down. And sometimes the blanket over my head. But mostly I remember touching her skin and it was so different. If I stared at it I could see these tiny criss cross lines in it and they fascinated me.
I remember seeing my hands reaching up for things all the time. I wanted to touch everything then.

...and they (Nt's) wonder why we are not on thier wavelength.
My earliest memory is not a pleasant one. It's from about when I was two years old.
I remember standing in the hall in my childhood apartment, where there was a chandelier that I was terrified of. It looked like a small glass barrel, with metal decorations on the outside. When I saw it, it scared the sh*t out of me, yet I stood there frozen: unable to even close my eyes, let alone to walk away from the thing. So I just stood there, staring at it, paralyzed with gripping fear. My parents kept asking me "what's wrong?", and I since couldn't say the word "chandelier" properly, I had no way to tell them. Suddenly, jarred back to reality by some impulse inside me, I just took off running fast toward the kitchen. I sat there for some time, and when my parents got there, they found me looking "shell shocked", as they described.

Different perspectives: Look who's talking now!
Woman with big breasts walks in....
Travoltas character sees breasts and asks male baby(bruce willis) "Are you thinking what I am?"
Bruce Willis... "Yeah.....LUNCH!!"
Naw, I don't remember that. My mother said she wouldn't even try. She said I'd starve!
I DO remember things like a movie camera I must have been real interested in, the crib, the room, the mobile. I remember when they were wondering what my name should be, etc... Most of my younger memories DO start around 4-5, but I do have ones from when I was younger.

My first one was when I was about one in a half. Mom was washing the car on the driveway and I was walking around when I tripped and fell on top of a fire ant bed, which it turns out I'm deadly allergic to. I don't remember this part, but apparently I was rushed to the emergency room because I swelled up so much and dad got a ticket for speeding.

My first memory definitely happened before I was 2. My family had taken a trip to Toronto to visit relatives, and I remember lying in a crib (or something crib-like), in a strange room. The room was dark, but there was light coming in from the hallway through the open door. My mom was standing in the doorway with my crying baby sister in her arms.
I possibly have another memory from when I was 20 months old. I had heart surgery at that age, and may have vague memories of being in the hospital. But I don’t know if it’s an actual memory, or if it was just a dream I had when I was really young. So this one’s questionable.
I remember sleeping in a school gymnasium during a severe snowstorm when I was 3 years, 4 months old. Hurricane force winds knocked out power to several parts of town, including ours, so those areas had to be evacuated so that we wouldn’t freeze to death. I can recall seeing this sea of people and sleeping bags spread out over the entire gym.
I remember pets that my family had well before I probably should remember them. I remember these two cats we had, that my dad had to get rid of because I used to kick them all the time (although I don’t remember kicking them). My mother has told me that she’s astonished I remember them at all because I was no more than 2 when we got rid of them. I also remember a dog we had briefly when I was no more than 3, or 4 tops (my sister, only 14 months younger than me, doesn’t remember him at all).
I can remember as far back as 1987 when I be at this one house full of toys in the room and there were other kids there. I think it was the daycare my parents bought me too. I can also remember eating in my high chair, being in my stroller and wearing diapers and being changed. I have a few memories of christmas that year. I remember getting my first tricycle and a toy piano. I do not remember my other gifts. I can remember my family taking me to the zoo here and to Clackamas Town Center and playing on the ship and wanting to go ice skating. I can even remember pushing another girl off the ship and my mother coming and telling me "You don't push" and she told me to come down and we left the play area. I knew full well what i did was wrong because my mother had always told me before about pushing and that time I thought I'd get away with it because my mother wasn't anywhere in sight but she appeared out of nowhere and scolded me as the girl's mother came up to her after I pushed her off.
