I am a terrible procrastinator, wandering aimlessly, any help or suggestions for me??

sorry i meant to post this a week ago but I put it off

no rush with your replies tomorrow or the next day is fine

you may not have read this yet, maybe u read just the heading so post a reply a few days from now, or a few days from then after you've read this or whenever u know if you want to no pressure you have all the time in the world no rush

Dont feel like i'm ordering you to do it, i'm not

ok i think i've written enough now (i'm indecisive too, no i'm not, ok I am, sort of)

ok i've written more, like i intended so i didnt procrsinate but i am indecisive as to when i should finish

i'm afraid i might forget to mention something, and if i put it off til later i might not do it or forget or both

OK Mammy, I'm coming for my medication (did i type that or just say it? oh lordie)

Procrastination is a classic ADHD trait. I saw a few people say medication did not help
with procrastination. So not sure what addvice offer.

Im probably a worse procrastinator than you. Sorry, I have no idea how to help.

I try too.

*Set one hour in a day that I just sit down and have to work.

*Use a planner, it really helps.

*Stay off the computer.

*Listen lightly to the music you like while working.

Sometimes the work just is impossible to concentrate on though.

Do things in 15 minute chunks. Don't do more than 15 minutes or you'll spoil it. If you know you're only on for 15 minutes, you might be more likely to do it, whatever it is.

And sometimes the work takes weeks of near solid effort.

Wish I could help but I'm a hopeless procrastinator myself. I think I have inattentive ADD.

I'm an awful procrastinator myself. If I need to get something done, I won't let myself leave and do anything else until it's done.

Dat'sfunny..i am a procrastinator too,,it is awful..I end up taking care of business when I am "bartending"..like tonight I was screenprinting...and bartending at the same time..but at least I got some screenprinting taken care of...sock creatures are another thing..althogh they are one of my main obsessions, often the only time Iam able to work on stuff is while I am bartending..i.e. doing something else...because i am so busy..and then there is all the time when I could be working on stuff that i just waste away..on the computer and whatnot..the computer really messes with me....
