I let my anxiety get the best of me, and it spilled out here in a thread from a few days ago. I apologize to everyone involved who had to deal with that post and its fallout.

Are you really a fourteen year old with a "PhD" ("sad", or otherwise)?

I never said I was 14. I’m in my 40s. And yes, I have a PhD.

Your profile lists your age as "14" for some reason.

That's odd, because when I look at it, I don't see my age listed at all. And I have listed my birthdate accurately.

Your age isn’t showing on this page, but if you click on the green “profile” button at the bottom left of your post, you get taken to your full profile page and your age is listed as 14!

That's... very weird. I have looked through all of my profile settings, and none of them have a place to put an age. And my birthdate definitely wouldn't produce "14."

This has been a bug for a long time. Sometimes it shows that people are over 100 years old.

set your birth date as dd-mm-yyyy. don't use slashes as recommended.
