For many years I have been around lots of people who smoke pot...on a regualar basis...like their lives depend on it..however...one puff and i am a nervous wreck for hours..sometimes even into the next day...with crying and paranoia and all kinds of crazy stuff...it is awful!

so naturally I avoid the stuff.

Anyone else have a similar reaction?

Never touched the stuff, and never will.

yeah i felt the same way, but i wouldn't have had any friends/social life if i didn't smoke the stuff when i was a teenager. you do get used to it after a while.

i gave it up in my thirties, had to get all serious about career stuff.

i still smoke it occasionally, it's nicer than alcohol.

I have tried it a few times when I was a teenager and never understood what was so great about it. It only confused me.

I hated it...horny,confused,stupid and know it(unlike alcohol where I am stupid and oblivious to it),hungry, tired and paranoid...I never understood why anyone would pay to feel like that.

There are a few people here who say it helps them be creative or social,I guess it's a matter of personal chemistry.

Always enjoyed it ! ! Once I got high, I would say or do whatever came to mind, and my mates would just laugh ! !! Complete time waster, though. I'd smoke, and sit around listening to Pink Floyd for hours. Gave it up once I became a parent, and haven't smoked any since.

In college it was the one thing that could calm me down and make me feel relaxed but I have not partaken in it in over 16 years. Now when hyped up it's Xanax

Same here. I've dabbled with a lot of the other crap that is out there
a long time ago. Not worth the trouble. Alcohol almost destroyed me.
Gave it up along with cigarettes five years ago. Best thing I ever did. :D :D :D

When I went into the school bathrooms after people had smoked pot, I just about got sick. It smells like poop.

I have the same reaction as the person who started this thread. Anyone else who has that reaction (at the degree I did) would never smoke it often enough to get used to it.
