Lack of General Awareness of One's Body
I'm not talking just about proprioceptive or other sensory issues. I mean more like awareness of my objective body. Like not realizing that I have certain congenital marks on my body until they're pointed out to me or I suddenly notice them. Or getting scratches and stuff and suddenly noticing them weeks later. I feel like when I look in the mirror, I find it really difficult to identify with what I see (although this has become less of an issue since I started dying my hair, getting pierced, and generally doing the things I like to take sort of "ownership" of my body and make it my own).
Does anybody else experience this sort of profound disconnect between their mind and their body (the latter, both as the subjective locus of sensation, AND as a physical objective body out there in the world)?

I usually have no idea how I got most of my scratches and bruises, but other than that, I don't have disconnect between mind and body.
