This is interesting but also quite scary. I read that regressive autism, which is what I had at age 2 1/2 and occurs between 18 months and 3 years involved a mutation on Chromosme 21. This makes more sense on why those with Down Syndrome have a higher liklihood of getting autism than those without Down Syndrome. Downs regress into autism at an older age, usally ages 3-7. It made even more sense to which message gene on Chromosome 21 was being mutated and that was the N6ANTI gene, which is responsible for Down Syndrome Disintegrative Disorder. Down Syndrome Disintegrative Disorder or DSDD strikes Down Syndrome patients as preteens and young teenagers kind of the same way I regressed when I was 2 1/2 years old. Could it be that the N6ANTI gene cause the form of autism I have rather than the vaccines my parents blame? NOO, and do not assualt anyone with a disability. Anyway, my point is: Is there any connection between Down Syndrome and autism. I had regressive autism and there was a defect on chomosome 21. Stick to this topic. Look at the first post in the discussion to get what i really say
