Today's date is the 5th day of march 2005; that's 05/05/05. To celebrate this momentus occasion, I woke up at 5:00 AM (05:00 in 24 hr time) to go outside and watch the stars at 5:05. I couldn't do it though because my body just failed on me after doing shift work for three nights in a row.

I'm now a bit dissappointed.

I wont be able to anticipate this unique julian-chinese callender event

(( 05:05:05 on 05/05/05))
for another 1000 years.

All well, at least next year i'll be able to observe another unique callender event

((06:06:06 on 06/06/06)) ! !! !

LOL. I need to read more about the Chinese Calendar. Based on moon phases, yes?

Shouldn't that be the 5th day of May 2005? Just thought March was 2 months ago unless I lost time somewhere there. :)

I am reading into this as special
days like birthdays, holidays
that particularly interest you, ect...!

My 39th birthday is October 19th 2005,
I was born in San Francisco, Cal,
10/19/66'. Birthdays should be a special
day, but not always.

Hmmm?

1881 and 1961 were special years. 6009 will be a special year also.

This is a thread for TheWhale, he seems to have knack for numbers and dates.

I actually haven't seen "The Omen," though I would like to. I recently saw "Rosemary's Baby," and that freaked me out, though.

Among some of my friends, I am known as the "child of Satan" (jokingly of course) because I turned 13 on 6/6/96. I don't mind, because that just means I get to bring about the Apocalypse, heh.

Civet,

I see you're a gemini. You're also 18 days older than me. :)

Those are cool. You can add 1001, 1111, 8008, 1691, 9006, 6699, 9966 and 8888 for the same reason.

And 50505 = 3 times 5 times 7 times 13 times 37. Just multiply that all by 11 and you get 555555.

You are simply amazing! How do you do what you do with numbers? I can easily visualize numbers in my head, but if I try to do anything with them, I loose track of them very quickly.

Try dissection facts, pictures, and things as
such in books read. I may be good at that,
and that is in my opinion, a difficult gift
as well to have.
