Vocals Freak Me Out
I don't understand why anything vocal will cause me to want to leave the room or place that it's coming from. I mean the anxiety level changes based on what someone is doing. Like for talking I don't like it but I can handle it, if someone starts crying I feel uncomfortable, if someone screams I'll freak the hell out, if someone sings (terribly or great) my skin crawls, if someone talks loudly I'll get irritated, and so on. I don't know why this happens and am wondering if other people experience something like this, or if there is another thing that freaks you out but with another sense, like visual for example.

I can relate. I don't like the sound of people talking. If someone's shouting, I find it extremely stressful. Laughing annoys and baffles me (Is it really that funny? Really? It sounds so forced, do you have to guffaw at every joke in the movie that's mildly amusing?), and oddly enough I don't like to hear singing unless I'm outright going to a concert, and even then, it's a struggle to enjoy the concert (wanna go home after the first song).
