It was sometime during the second half of first grade for me. It was either that winter or spring. So as the title says, when did you learn to dress yourself?

There is a difference between knowing how to dress ones self and knowing what to wear that will not get you beaten up at school.

I don't know when I learned to put on clothes, but up through 6th grade I was still putting my clothes on wrong...or wearing stuff that I got made fun of for....

My fashion sense started evolving around the time I reshed high school..when i became completely obsessed with vintage clothes...and hats....the older the better....but my normal clothes..started looking better...albiet they have always been eccentric.

Well, my mother knows it was before 3. I'm pretty sure it was before 2. Frankly, I wouldn't have stood for not doing it.

ALSO, I always dressed conservatively, and it seemed like everyone almost instinctively knew what was WRONG. It was unheard of for someone to break ranks in that way, and I was and am no different there.

I remember learning how to put pants and shirts on myself when I was about four.

I still button my shirts wrong and put things on inside out.
Sometimes, I just don't care.

Gee, do you even know the norm? With some over$%^& parents, and some comorbids, who knows what some dealt with. Also, there are interests, etc... I HAVE forgotten to eat/sleep more than a few times because of interests.

BTW I don't know about YOU, but I have been determining when I learned this stuff by basically going back and trying to remember as far back as I could when I knew I did it myself, and sometimes tried to see if my mother knew I did it earlier, or could verify it. So it is really the latest I could have learned how to do it.
