As you know, It's mother's day today. It's also VE day, which was when Europe surrendered during WWII. It is also my 14th birthday today. I technically turned 14 at 11:46 A.M. CDT, but I still feel like becoming an adolescent has taken me by supreeze. I still am only 4' 10.5" tall and I am sick and tired of always having to look up to everyone. I don't think that me turning 14 has made much of a difference, but at least the unfortunate cycle of 13 has ended. Well, that's all I have to say.

Christopher

Chris,

Let me be the first to say happy birthday and to tell you that it does get better if you survive your teenage years. :D

Chris:

I can figure that your birthday doesn't always fall on Mother's Day. It just happened to this year. I hope you are having a great birthday.

Happy Birthday Chris!! My son was the same way when he entered his teens. He worried so much about his height and the summer he was 15 he shot up so fast, we couldn't keep him in pants or shoes!

For some reason boys tend to do that....I don't know why. He stopped growing when he was 6'3". But I do remember him agonizing until he really started growing.

Hang in there.....you will hit your spurt.....maybe this summer! :D

Happy BDay! Growth spurt will come.

I am female and was 5'6" by age 12 at which point I stopped growing. I used to be taller than the boys. Felt a bit more insignificant when they hit their growths spurts and I had finished mine.

Happy Bathday mate!!

Try to relax through your teen years. Don't worry too much about defining yourself to others. Be yourself moment by moment, and stay true to yourself also.
