Okay, now I'm getting angry on a lot of things. So I feel like I should speak up on the things that's been going on.
1. What Dylaan Roof did to those nine innocent people was horrifying and wrong. He was a known bigot and was excommunicated by the American Nazi Party for being too violent. He should be given a fair trial, no mob execution. If you think that he should be killed, then you're worse than he is.
2. The "stop snitching" code is total BS. If you witness a crime being a committed, start snitching immediately. Hiding behind your home or any place of shelter isn't going to protect you. It will follow you until you do the right thing. You see someone assaulting someone for any reason, snitch. You witness someone getting raped, snitch. You see someone vandalizing your car, home or someone's property, snitch. I don't care what people think of you when you snitch. You're doing the right thing and being a good person.
3. Local law enforcement officers are to serve and protect people of cities. Yes there's going to be a few rotten apples in each precinct, but not all cops are bad people. If a cop tells you to go home, comply. If a cop tells you to not move, comply. If a cop approaches to question you, don't run and comply. If a cop does his/her job and you feel that cop isn't going by the book, get their name, badge # and report it to their supervisor. If a cop is making an arrest, frisking someone, questioning someone, don't interfere. If a cop arrests and charges you, don't resist. You're only going to cause more trouble to yourself.
4. Consent is important. No means no.
5. I don't care about elections. I don't care about the politicians and their private lives. it's their own business. There are things I agree and things I disagree when it comes to politics.
6. The black on black crimes is getting out of hand. Whites have nothing to do with the murders that's been going on. Whites didn't forces these black criminals to kill, steal and sell drugs. That's a personal choice. Whites didn't force black girls to have children out of wedlock, that's a personal choice. How are these young children going to compete in the marketplace when they have no discipline, no supervision and no direction? Pumping money into fixing this problem and blaming other people isn't the answer.
7. I'm Autistic and I don't care what people say. Shame on those who treated me like dirt. One day you'll have a kid that will have trouble with eye contact, verbal communication, being bullied etc. But, that kid will make you and the community proud one day. You will realize that you were wrong to judge me.
8. Public transportation. I hate it when someone with a stroller occupies the handicap seats. Those seats are reserved for seniors, people with disabilities and pregnant women. Those seats aren't reserved for strollers. If I have a Disabilities Ride Free card, that means I have a right to sit in that handicapped seat. But I will give up that seat for a pregnant woman, a senior and a person with a disability especially a scooter/wheelchair.
9. If you plan to get intimate with someone, make sure that person is clean. Always communicate before taking that step. Plus, take an STD test to make sure that you're clean. If you feel uncomfortable with having sex with that person, you can get that person to take an STD test. Always be honest with that person, reminding him/her on how many partners you have had sex with. Make sure he/she tells you how many partners he/she has sex with. Communication is key.
10. Views. It's okay to agree or disagree with someone's views. but, you should respect their views. Name calling isn't good. You're going to hear views that are extreme, crazy and sick. But It's best to be courteous and not ostracize. There are views that I agree and there are views that I disagree. But, I'm not going to go on a witch hunt. Everyone is entitled to their own views.
11. Pull your pants up. Showing your boxers shows you have low self esteem. Get a belt or suspenders. Pants hanging low comes from prison. It represents a role in prison sex. The pants that hare hanging super low show's you're submissive.
12. Humor. Humor is everywhere. We should be tolerant of someone's humor. It's intent to make people laugh, not to hurt someone. Just because people tell racist jokes, doesn't make them racist. I'll take any joke so I can laugh. I've heard lots of jokes and I don't take it personally. It's to make people laugh.
If you don't like jokes, then you have a problem with tolerance.
13. Music. I love music. There are some music I like and some I don't like. I'm more of an old school type person. I don't like the music that's playing in the present. I'm not into Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus etc. I don't even like the rap music they're playing in the present. I have my tastes, you have your tastes. I don't condemn anyone for the music they listen to. I just don't like the stuff they're playing in the radio today. I only listen to the stuff I have in my iTouch like Metallica, Linkin Park, Garbage, AC/DC, Don Johnson, The Smiths, Depeche Mode etc.
14. Confederate Flag. Yes I admit the flag represents the Confederacy and pro-slavery during the Civil War. But, what happens when we demand for that flag to be removed? Where's it going to end? Pretty soon someone would want the rainbow flag removed. Then someone would want the flag of Chicago removed. Then someone would want the flag of the US removed as well. It's the first amendment. It's like a domino effect. What if you owned that flag because your ancestor was a Confederate soldier as honor? Since when did we become flag burners? Think about it. We can't let fear dictate our lives.
