For about 3 weeks now, I have been getting between 30 and 60 minutes less sleep because of my schedule. One night, about a month ago, I stayed up a little later than usual, and fell asleep with the TV on a certain show. The next night, I did the same thing. I slept great both nights. So this staying up an hour or 30 minutes late thing, and falling asleep with that show on the TV has become a new part of my schedule, and I hate it. I have tried going to bed at my usual time all week, and every night, I end up staying awake an extra 30-60 minutes, usually doing nothing, just so I can fall asleep with that show on. I am not sleeping better, and I am more tired. I somehow made it part of my schedule, and can't easily break out.
This type of thing happen to others, where their normally comfortable and welcome schedule gets something in it that makes things worse?
