If this is "Wrong Planet", then are autistic people all from the same planet, but away from neurotypicals, or are each and every one of us from a different planet (including NTs) because we are each so different from one another? I'm not asking this in a LITERAL manner whatsoever. I understand that we all originate from Planet Earth.

The Website is called "Wrong Planet" because there are times, due to difficulties navigating social rules, that autistic people feel like they are on the "Wrong Planet." They might feel like "aliens," despite their earthly birth.

There is even an entity known as "Wrong Planet Syndrome.'

There are certainly more compatible groupings within us AS folks where you might say that group is from the same planet, but other groups that are quite different.
Of course Earth belongs to the NTs.
We are just here to gather information.

I like the way you put that.

I've always felt like an outsider, like an alien, like there's this huge invisible barrier preventing me from truly communicating. It would be interesting if there was a planet where I actually felt like I fit in.

It is not implied that all aspies "originate" from the same planet, just that all of us are out of place on this one

I was in a therapists office on Monday for my daughter's appointment-she is NT but has other issues. They had a sheet in there about being a better parent, or something like that. Some of the things it talked about was communication and under that it said "Remember, most communication is non-verbal." That was sure a great way to start off the week in a funk. Realizing that I am not aware of most communication going on. No wonder my social skills did so bad for so long. There is a whole other language going on that I am completely oblivious to.

Well, we're just down here on a visit.

I often feel like saying what they did on 'Star Trek': 'Beam me up, Scotty'.

:?
