I post a lot about meltdowns and challenging behaviour. I deleted my last original post because I realise I am becoming repetitive. My OCD is bad. And so are my meltdowns.

I will try not to mention them too much from now on.

You need not apologize.

You are trying to cope...we all are...don't view yourself negatively for expressing your struggle.

Your life is harder than most...anyone would meltdown facing the difficulties you face.

All you can do is keep on trying in your life.

Be well. :)

It's better to talk about it than just keep it in your mind, and here is definitely the place. :D And as said before, just keep on going. WP is always here and I love that. :D

I lashed out and hit my support worker recently. He was firm with me saying that I shouldn't do that, but I was having a meltdown on a bus at the time so couldn't respond to logic. He eventually calmed me down in a side street. I feel really bad about what I did. He wasn't injured at all but I still feel bad. That and the daily meltdowns. I ended up smashing a plate today.

I didn't notice the repetition. Anyway, I don't see it does any harm, if a thing troubles you, people might have missed it the first time round.

Tell him how you feel, or write it and let him read it.

That's what this forum is for. I should make more posts about my difficulties, because it always helps how I feel when I do. Personally I relate so well to what you post, it helps me accepting myself better.

Typing on a dodgy phone.

Thank you all. Much appreciated

Emotions get in the way of logic.

I want to reduce emotion to a minimum.

I think I responded to your last thread before you maybe asked that it be deleted or deleted it. I didn't think there was anything wrong with what you said because it was about you and how you were feeling.

Could that BE part of the problem :?: :!:

If you suppress or repress emotion and it builds up within you that could actually cause the meltdowns.

Have you considered this possibility :?:

Dodgy phone again.

That's a good point.

I find emotion unpleasant. But I could let it out in private.
