The reality is that we are on an exponentially growing curve of biotechnological innovation and new discoveries that might have come every few years or months in an earlier era will be coming weekly or daily now.

Wow, I wonder if within my lifetime they'll find all the causes of autism (since there probably is no one cause). It's very cool.

I hope you could use this optimism as a balm for when you're feeling down.
