What about me? Why am I always alone? Ah, whatever, I just have rotten luck... even ended up without speakers for a whole week because the ones I ordered happened to come with a smashed plug.

not to discount your feelings of despair, but if you continually focus on bad things going on in your life, they will only be magnified. i have felt how you feel, like nothing is going right in my life. but i started to make time to write down things i am thankful for, and all the good that is happening, and i am much happier. i know this is the case in your life, there are good things. whatever you focus on is magnified.
i know it sounds silly, but it really does help. i have also felt alone. like everyone has a life except me. please know that for everyone there is a niche in life. here's to hoping you find yours. <3

I technically found mine, but it's online... which of course leaves me alone still. Neuroscience is my foremost interest, but in this frustrating academic world it'd take some luck for me to be able to do actual research with others...
