Who needs constant airflow to sleep? I thought it was the noise of the fan or airconditioner, but even with a white noise gadget I couldn't sleep without air moving. I'm curious because all my partners have complained about it. Well that and needing it below 64 degrees.

I prefer the temperature to be around 68 degrees.

I do benefit from airflow, and from ambient noise.

I usually like the sound of the fan on because it soothes me to sleep. :)

I am the same way. Each night before I go to bed I switch the A/C fan from "Auto" to "On," so that it will run continuously. This probably raises my electric bill a bit...but oh well.

I'm not like that but I know someone who definitely is; so yeah, it's a thing.

Yep for some reason I've got to have it cool and I sleep better if I hear white noise or failing that the sound of the AC coming through the vents

I sleep the best when there is absolute silence, and next best if I have slight noise (like a fan running). The one thing that absolutely destroys my attempt to sleep is if there is any sudden sound at all, even if it's barely audible. Once I'm in deep sleep, it doesn't really matter as I sleep as a rock.

I have tried the airflow thing, and it's not really for me. I like to sleep under an open window though that applies colder air all the time (I sleep on a mattress on the floor  )
