Is there an estimate of the number of people in the world who have absolutely no psychological abnormalities? I would love to know the ratio of NT's to everyone who has some mental condition.

Probably close to 0.

There is a disorder for everyone. If you live with an aspie, you probably have Cassandra Affective Disorder:

What is CAD? - The easiest way to understand it is to relate it to Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD). SAD is caused by sunlight deprivation, this can cause a neurochemical inbalance in the brain.

The symptoms of SAD usually occur regularly each winter, starting between September and November and continuing until March or April. A diagnosis can be made after three or more consecutive winters where the symptoms, including a number of the following, continue to recur.

Sleep problems: Usually desire to oversleep and difficulty staying awake but in some cases, disturbed sleep and early morning wakening

Lethargy: Feeling of fatigue and inability to carry out normal routine

Overeating: Craving for carbohydrates and sweet foods, usually resulting in weight gain

Depression: Feelings of misery, guilt and loss of self-esteem, sometimes hopelessness and despair, sometimes apathy and loss of feelings

Social problems: Irritability and desire to avoid social contact

Anxiety: Tension and inability to tolerate stress

Loss of libido: Decreased interest in sex and physical contact

Mood changes: In some sufferers, extremes of mood and short periods of hypomania (over activity) in spring and autumn.

Most sufferers show signs of a weakened immune system during the winter, and are more vulnerable to infections and other illnesses.

SAD is very, very real! However where SAD is about sunlight deprivation - CAD is about emotional deprivation!

Similar symtoms, expericed by the SAD sufferer, are experienced by the CAD sufferer. Yet there is an even more damaging affect for the CAD sufferer insofar it is another human being, that they probably love, who is responsible for their emotional deprivation.

My research strongly indicates that people with Asperger syndrome emotionally deprive (usually unintentionally) their partners and this, in turn, will have an effect on the mental and physical health of that deprived partner in the relationship. It is especially extreme if the couple are unaware of the cause (AS) of the relationship problems.

Emotional reciprocity, love and belonging are essential human needs, if these needs are not being met, and the reason why is not understood, then mental and physical health may be affected. Awareness and understanding can eliminate this.

Just as sunlight restores the balance in SAD - emotional input and understanding can restore the balance in the person affected by CAD.

Anyone read Philip K. Dick's novel, Ubik? The protagonist would receive messages in the toilet:

"Jump In The Urinal And Stand On Your Head. I'm The One That's Alive. You're All Dead"

Sometimes, that is how I feel toward NTs and their psychology.

My point exactly -- so it's "normal" to be abnormal.

I guess it defines how you define NT.

If you are defining NT as everybody else who isn't an aspie or doesn't have some form of Autism, which is how you guys here seem to define it, then that number is billions.

Otherwise, NT's do not exist. Everybody has a disability or difference.

Some of you who have been here along time may remember me talking about people whom I called "Super NT's". If anyone would be totally NT, it would these people. I guess their numbers based on my own experience would be about 1 in 100 or so.
