My score was a 22 I am curious to see what you guys get. Also if you feel comfortable, specify if you have ASD or not.

This test was weird. It seemed like it could have used a few more questions and a few more answer choices. I scored a 39 (I've been diagnosed with ASD).

The only correct answers to the questions are subjective and highly nuanced ("yes and no") in my case, but the form only allows very black-and-white answers, and even "don't know" or "neutral" isn't allowed. I can achieve practically any score I want to without lying. So if I did the test, my result would be meaningless. The longer AQ test may be bad for the same kind of reasons, but this is worse. I've done this screening test before and came out as not having ASD (though like I say, it could have been anything), though my actual diagnostic report says otherwise.

I got 33 but it's hard for me to really judge whether I do those things or not. The psychiatrists think I have ASD, just waiting on the psychologists now to do the assessment. So at the moment, no, I do not have an ASD.

40, Aspie. But as someone said the test doesn't seem reliable. It is very susceptible to confirmation bias and has not enough questions.

I took the test again and chosen "True only now" whenever I was unsure if I was like this also as a kid or not (I didn't pay attention to such things then so I have only a few episodic memories and how other people treated me to rely on - I don't remember every single feeling and thought from my childhood) and I got 20.

For example the question: "It is very difficult for me to work and function in groups.".
It's difficult for me now because I tend to get too bossy and scare people off or act like a robot, following orders and seem unsympathetic but I don't remember if that was the deal when I was a kid - I only remember that people didn't want me in their groups then, not that I specifically had any problem with groups. I considered other people being unreasonable, not myself.

Or the "I can chat and make small talk with people.".
I don't remember myself having trouble with chatting as a kid. I could talk to anyone who wanted to listen to me and I was considered cute and outgoing by adults although other kids hated me for some reason that I couldn't pinpoint.

And the "When I feel overwhelmed by my senses, I have to isolate myself to shut them down.".
I only learned this method recently. As a kid I was just having "temper tantrums" for no apparent reason.

I scored a 12.

You have answered this autism screening test in such a way as to suggest that you are not likely currently suffering from an austism spectrum disorder, including Asperger syndrome.

You should not take this as a diagnosis or recommendation for treatment in any way, though.

I answered as truthfully as I can.

32, and I do have the diagnosis. I think this is a rather weak test, I've seen several that seem better.

37 and diagnosed. I could easily have answered several questions differently that would have given me a lower score.

For example, when I was a kid, I couldn't do small talk at all. Now, I have a short set of stock phrases and jokes that serve well enough to "make conversation" in the office, as long as it doesn't go on too long. But this is one of the reasons I don't like to eat meals with people--I quickly run out of anything to say and will tend to switch the conversation to one of my interests and monologue or retreat into just continuously asking question and pretending to listen or just fall into uncomfortable silence.

I can't just chat in these situations and when I am really engaged in a one on one discussion, I don't know how to end the conversation and keep using questions or other devices to seem engaged past the appropriate time. So, how do I answer the "small talk" conversation? Every answer is slightly inaccurate.

I scored 17. I was diagnosed as an adult.

FWIW this appears to be a subset of the questions on the RAADS-R.

I agree with this. This test is essentially worthless to me because on most of these questions I'm not 100% one way or the other. This test rated me at 36, whereas other tests have rated me at AQ 41, or ND 147/200, NT 86/200.

I got 41, and I agree this test seems a bit odd and short. I don't like the choices for some of the questions. Worth noting I don't yet have an autism diagnoses.

Looks like I was correct. In the text below the test it identifies it as the RAADS-R-14-Screen, "an abridged version of Ritvo Autism and Asperger Diagnostic Scale-Revised". As such, it's not really comparable to longer tests you may have taken. It's more like the AQ-10 (itself a subset of the full AQ).

This and the AQ-10 are only supposed to be used for initial screening purposes. But I don't really see the purpose of them. The full AQ and RAADS-R themselves don't take terribly long to take and are no more complex to administer. The 5-10 extra minutes it takes to fill out the full tests seems pretty trivial for a more thorough screening.

I got 34, though this test doesn't seem reliable.
