i was just wondering if anyone knows if there is such a thing as sensory integration for adults (i'm 19). i can only find place that do sensory integration for kids through age 18. i did sensotry integration when i was younger 7th and 8th grade and i really liked it. swinging and brushing and it was fun and made me feel good. but now i dont know where to go for it. if anyone can find places that have sensory integration for adults in minnesota that weould be very helpful!! ive looked but cant find anything...

i have been desperately seeking sensory integration for adults and, like you, i find it only for kids. you could try ebay, search 'autistic' - the weighted blankets and stuff come up. i still don't know where to get a proper brush, i use loofah.

so far, i'm doing it on my own. i would give my eye teeth to get onto a swing!

this books is useful too:
too loud too bright too fast too tight
what to do if you are sensory defensive in an overstimulating world

good luck and please let me know if you find anything! :)

Good luck! I haven't seen anything in my searching, but I'm also in Minnesota, so I'll definitely let you know if I come across anything.
