I am recently self-diagnosed AS.

How do you go about being "officially" diagnosed?
In the Los Angeles area.

You have healthcare?
Is healthcare anygood in Ca.?

I am almost 40.
No insurance.
Don't qualify anymore for free healthcare.

Well I'm over 40 and have real good insurance. My employer-sponsered counselor set me up with a guy who specialises in diagnosing children and the HMO paid 100% (or he waived the co-pay.) Didn't get the diagnosis though. Got "Narcissitic Personality Disorder with scizoid features." Glad I didn't pay anything for that.
