I made this poll (http://www.wrongplanet.net/postt50892.html) here, and I also made it on a generally NT Teen forum. I'm trying to see how the results Vary.

So far, they got very confused and said "well, it can't be cured, so whats the point?" I had to explain, that I was wondering if we should be finding a cure. I think AS people understand it better.

Ok. so one person got it was a hypothetical question.

The results so far: (Teen forum)
Autism should be cured: 6
Autism spectrum disorders should be cured: 2
Both: 8

Autism should not be cured: 1

Autism spectrum disorders should not: 0
Both: 7

Results (WP) :

Autism should be cured: 5
Autism spectrum disorders should be cured: 0
Both: 6

Autism should not be cured: 3
Autism spectrum disorders should not be cured: 4
Both:13
Mmmk. do you think i should ask on other forums? any suggestions for other sites to ask on, whether AS or not? any ideas besides that?

Any suggestions you ask, that might improve your little test. Perhaps start with this small change: turn your shoulds into coulds. Less alienating.

Because this thread is a link embedded in a new topic by the OP which was posted in General Forum today. She made the link, and this is relative to her current topic. That's why...
