Make your own syndrome...
So this could end up being really stupid or really cool. While many people here have AS we are all unique. So make your own syndrome named after you that describes all of your quirks and things.
My example: Brandon's Syndrome
* Highly sarcastic and can go too far with sarcasm and jokes/teasing
* Anxious in new situations
* Anxious around people he/she is not comfortable with, and/or can not think of something to say for conversation, but once he/she feels comfortable, can be highly humorous, sarcastic, and/or hyper.
* Sometimes fails to recognize and/or think of how what he says or does may make others feel. Once he/she founds out how the person feels, he/she may feel regret or guilt, or think the other person is being overly emotional depending on the situation.
* Impaired motor skills and visual spatial skills
* Takes longer to/often has difficulty understanding new and/or bigger concepts in school, especially in math and science.
* Has difficulty verbalizing how he/she feels.
* Has difficulty controlling or regulating emotions.
* Worries about small things, often obsessively, especially in social interactions, but often also obsesses over things like "did I lock the door".
* Difficulty dealing with negative feedback, particularly in social situations, but not limited to them.
* Notices small things people do, like rub there arms, play with there hair, put there hand on there necklace, and finds these behaviors to be interesting.
* Smells certain things he/she likes (skin, certain textures, etc).
* Feels certain textures he/she likes, particularly, but not limited to, computer keyboards.
* Hands flaps when excited, (can control it in public by clenching fists) often does this while listening to music and looking at the time code of the song.
* Fantasizes about being a famous actor or rapper, and having a label.
* Constantly wonders what his mental disorder/syndrome is.
* Finds school spirit and sports to be stupid.
* Has a intense love for music, particularly rap.
* Difficulty filling out forms, indecisive.
* Constantly forgets to do homework and/or chores.
* Has difficulty falling asleep.
* Often zones out, or does not process instructions and/or lessons.
* Does not like sitting in class.
* Constantly rotates/taps pencil in class, and will even do it while walking through the halls.
* Has mood swings, from optimism to pessimism (not to be confused with mania, not bi polar).
* Addictive personality
* Overweight
* Pale, red/brown hair needs sunscreen or will burn and be pink during outside, often summer activities.
* Enjoys socializing and relating to peers but needs isolation.
There's probably more I can think of but I am getting tired.
