My dad when giving advice frequently talks like this, expressing obvious frustration and disapproval to me:

You know, I can think of a hundred things you could do.
Have you even thought of one?
Here, the tone is expressing frustration and a sense that the listener has been "bad" or "lazy."
Can anyone more clearly define, perhaps even with a single word, exactly what this method of talking is?
