Why do you write "obsessions" a different way each time? Sorry, but as a good speller I do recognise typos easily and become bothered by them.
But anyway, I think it's normal for adolescents to put their love lives and social lives first before anything else.
But when you grow up and have responsibilities, it's stupid to put trivial obsessions first. Well, that's from an NT's point of view, not mine. I remember when I was on job-seekers, and I was going to the town with my mum to hand in a CV and cover letter into a restaurant that were advertising for staff. But I was in such a frantic panic to see a bus go by (because that was what I was obsessed with), that we rushed out of the house, only to discover that I arrived to the town without my CV or a cover letter. I had forgotten them. My mum yelled at me like, "so seeing buses go by is more important than getting a job! I can't believe you let your stupid obsessions rule your life!"
And I was like, "um...but buses ARE more important to me than getting a silly job..."
