Well I found out by my new psychiatrist that I never had Aspergers in my life or anything of the autistic spectrum. It simply was clincal depression combined with ADD. The symptoms of the two do give effects similar to Aspergers. Especially that of social akwardness and aloofness. Right now after recognizing it I have managed to read body language and facial expressions more and more. I still have somewhat of a way to go.

I have recognized that I am now socially and emotionally as mature as my age which is 20 years old and may at times be as mature as someone who is 24-25 and maybe up to 40 years old. I have noticed that there is a girl in my life who may or may not still have a crush on me. I still worry about my mentality affecting what may happen. I would hate to see myself accidently screwing up a relationship. And in my opinion the best wife or girlfriend is the one that takes the wrong in the past you have done and shreads it.

I do have my outbursts still from the depression and I do get sidetracked from the ADD. But I guess I am now Neurotypical. Reason why I got misdiagnosed was because my parents were not open about what happened inside the home I was in. I am now able to tackle on jobs in the military and several other things once I cure this long depression. The aspergers is not even masked, I truly am neurotypical. I was just a pain in the ass. And my symptoms are very similar to my oldest brother, who knows maybe my oldest brother could have been diagnosed with Aspergers. And it is similar to my grandfather.

I also want to tell you guys that in my life I have known two guys with Aspergers that have managed to be in relationships. So let that myth that guys with Aspergers are forever alone, who knows maybe you may have had something different. And I want to tell you I am still able to vote so guess what no big deal. I have also known a guy in the military who used to be diagnosed like me who managed to get a wife. My oldest brother was indeed a ladies man and got several girlfriends and dated a lot. I will tell you guys that if you have Aspergers and you want a Neurotypical, strive for the older girls. They will be able to take your s**t more and handle it more and you can have a better chance of succeeding in life with her if you try and I mean try to make her happy instead of yourself. Value the good and do the good. Set your mind up. I honestly do prefer older women myself. Me being 20 I strive for those that are 20-23.

Maybe in coming time I will in fact officially have the toughness and mentality of someone who is older than what their age is. Now those with buttburgers calm down and enjoy life like me. We don't need a party pooper, we need a party raiser.

Yeah nope, don't buy it. There's a lot of stuff in your post that sounds like a pile, to be honest.

Could be wrong, but maybe a pile of BS? Took some thinking but I think that's what she meant.

It definitely is not a pile of BS. You need to wake up and smell the coffee. I have gotten a new diagnosis from a professional psychiatrist. And it has been confirmed that I do not have Aspergers. You know you can still be socially awkward and still not have Aspergers? And also if you are complaining about having no girlfriend or wife. Then that is all on you. You should try to emote your feelings and try to get out more. The combination of Clinical Depression and ADD can lead to the symptoms of Aspergers and several others. At times clinical depression can be mistaken for bipolar, schitzophrenia, manic depression, and psychosis. I have faced many rough bumbs in my life.

Some people are maybe doubting your new diagnosis.

I do not believe that being Aspergers means you can't be in relationships.

I also do not believe that telling people just to 'get out more' is going to help anyone who genuinely detests mixing with others or has issues expressing themselves. If only it were that simple.

"I truly am neurotypical. I was just a pain in the ass." This made me sad. "S/he's just being a pain in the ass / s/he's just not bothering to try to fit in / s/he just refuses to grow up and learn how to behave" is a not-uncommon non-DX, as I've experienced and observed, made against children on the spectrum. Not saying you are - I'm not your psychiatrist, or a psychiatrist at all. But I've heard that before, said it about myself before, and had it said about me and it's a step backward, not forward...IMO. For whatever my opinion is worth.

Your whole post just made me sad. But I hope you are happy going forward no matter what the future holds for you.

Not a girl either, I'm a guy. And also that pain in the ass thing was suppose to be taken as humor. Hehehehe... Yeah.

I think I may know why though. The cartoon wolf picture... Yeah that was from me when I was 17 years old. I used to be a furry. But I grew out of it and really disliked it. And my suggestions and the fact that I got diagnosed with depression may seem like that, but really it is not. So... Yeah.

Swans, pitbulls, virtually the same thing right?
