Do you wear and like jewelry? And what kind of jewelry and what kind of material?

Personally, I wear two rather form fitting anklets (faux leather cord and nylon cord tattoo pattern in brown) on my left ankle and one on my right (tattoo kind in a saturated blue) which are commonly concealed. I sometimes wear a flat brown leather cord around my neck (a bit loose so that it sits low and doesn't look like a choker). On rare occasions I wear a black leather collar. I generally prefer my jewelry to be form fitting and non-metallic but also not necessarily cheap plastic either. The only metallic jewelry I would wear is either a watch (Japanese Seiko watch that was my grandfathers) or a bronze torc. And before I get judged because I am a guy talking about jewelry, I would like to say that I am not homosexual or metro or flamboyant, I just have some preferences not everyone understands.

PS: I also like chicks who wear chokers and collars (not necessarily gothic, but rather the ones who wear them and otherwise just wear t-shirts, hoodies and jeans).

I do not care if I seem weird to you.

I wear no jewelry at all (I am female).
I just cannot make any connection to it.
I don't understand wearing jewelry.

I wear it when I dress up. Maybe once a month I put on jewelry just because.

I like how jewelry looks, but managing my appearance is annoying, and jewelry often gets in the way or is uncomfortable slightly. Earrings hurt because the back skin always grows over.

I fidget with any jewelry I wear also, all sorts, often means loosing it or a component of it or chains breaking, etc.

Only 18 carat gold jewellery. I have a severe allergy to nickel, and a lot of stuff sold as not containing nickel does contain it. I get nasty rashes which begin within an hour of exposure. For the same reason I have to be careful about other nickel containing things like holding cheaply made keys or coins in my hand, nickel is so commonplace that it is everywhere.

My grandmother left me her 19th century gold wedding ring and her gold locket, and I wear them everyday as very treasured possessions that meant a lot to her (and me). Her other prized possession was a beautiful antique china tea set which was left to someone else, who gave it to me as she felt that it was really want my grandmother would have wanted to happen. Lovely gesture :) It has huge sentimental value and represents my sense of ongoing connection to her love.

Fashion doesn't have to be a reason. Some people just like the feel of it like me.

Jewelry including watches is like socks to me, the feeling is not nice. Just would rather not have it. I did not really consider that people would wear jewelry for how it feels.

Well, not everyone is the same. Plus not all jewelry is made of metal or leather. You can make bracelets and co. from cloth materials like satin or velours which feel nice. For me for example the soft untreated leather feels nice.

I sometimes wear earrings.
I like something dangling from my ears.
Earrings are also good for playing with when I am bored.
Occasionally, I also wear ringpops.

I like the idea of jewelry, but putting it on would be an extra task in my life, and I need as few tasks as I can get. I can barely keep my hair brushed. Same for keeping track of jewelry I'd own. Also, I usually don't have enough money to spend on asthetics.

There were times I got jewelry from family like a bracelet or something, also earrings, but all they did was enhance stimming, that's all I did with them, but still I did never feel comfortable with it.
What I do more times wear is a rubber bracelete just to stim, but I do not know if it qualifies as jewelry.

I do not wear any jewelry (including watches).

I previously wore a wedding ring for ~ 15 years. I used to constantly play with it. I would twist it one way or the other. Or, I would pull it off and put it on. One day, I looked down and it was gone. I had no idea where it was. At the time, my wife was a bit upset. But, not anymore.

When I was younger (back in middle school), I used to wear a watch. It was the same deal. I would snap/unsnap the watch band constantly. Thankfully, I haven’t worn a watch in > 30 years.

Ultimately, I don't like things touching my skin. It feels constricting.

I sometimes wear jewelry. I like jewelry, and will wear it when I dress up. However, I generally feel like I am not good at getting a complete outfit together so the jewelry often gets forgotten or just doesn't look "right" with what I'm wearing.

I like a lot of different kinds of materials, though I generally don't like metal-only jewelry. I tend to prefer more "bohemian" styles. I like both looser and tighter jewelry, depending on what I'm wearing and my mood. What I am picky about is the size of the jewelry. I am a fairly large person, and truly am large boned. I would never be smaller than a size 10, at my ideal weight. I need jewelry that won't disappear on me. I also do not like "dainty" things. That is just not me. So, I prefer jewelry that is "chunky", but not flashy. I prefer muted and natural colors, for the most part.

I also have an allergy to metal, but it is not severe. I will itch a little bit. It is mainly a problem only if I wear earrings. I do have some converters to change pierced-ear earrings into clip-on earrings, but I usually go without earrings. I do think it looks a little funny to wear a necklace without earrings.

If I am practicing or performing, I wear no bracelets or rings at all because they distract me. I notice any extra weight on my fingers/wrists.

Some people like constricting stuff. Me and a female friend used to meet up for bondage. It was fun, but then she moved away. For some being wrapped in bondage tape or saran wrap may cause panic attacks and some may feel pleasure for it (this goes for people in the spectrum too). But that is off topic and a whole other story I need to make a thread about.

I'm just not fussy. I wear enough clothes to be considered "wearing clothes". Jewelry just seems like a hassle.

I've always worn a watch--I recently discovered that you can buy extra hard watches that are scratch resistant yet not too expensive.
