Have you ever noticed that when people notice your autistic or childlike traits it triggers some people's maternal instinct? It used to happen to me all the time. Every time someone got to know me I could see her maternal instincts growing. That made me prefer hanging out with guys because guys don't really have maternal instincts.

Now that I'm older I don't really notice this anymore. The first time people stopped this behavior was when I was fourteen.

Maybe it's because I've finally learnt to act normally enough. I'm scared I'll have a mental breakdown and lose all my progress. I would hate to see people treat me like that again.

One thing that I have always wonder is why, with all my lack of success with women in general until recently, it seems that mothers absolutely love me. I would suspect it has to do with the subconscious maternal instinct.
