Do any of you get an occasional distressing feeling of wanting to be hugged (or held hard during anxiety?)
Two different situations, I mean. I try holding or stroking my arms but always end up pinching or grabbing them too tightly. So it doesn't really have a good effect. I can see there are alot of us having issues with touch, and generally I don't like it that much either, only with select people. (I'm female). Whenever I do get it I think I feel it 100 times stronger than they do, their skin usually feels warmer than mine, even very hot at times.

That's pretty common. A lot of autistic people have weighted blankets and hug vests, to help with that need for pressure. I like being hugged by my dad and especially my cousin when I need it. They hug me from behind crossing their arms over my chest. It really helps me calm down and good at defusing meltdowns. Sometimes my cousin (male same age as me) holds me like that in bed so I can get to sleep when I have a lot of anxiety.

I experience this as well. Sadly, I will never be able to satisfy this desire with another human.
When I sleep I cuddle my pillow. Also, when I visit my grandma I cuddle with her dog and cat.

I used to be a sensory seeker in many ways more than one.
I don't just craved for touch and pressure, I also used to crave for noise, and scent.

The sensory seeking stopped at teen years. But a touch from someone familiar enough didn't prevented it from calming me down from a meltdown.

And it still does at times when I'm frustrated or angry. It's been years since I had any actual meltdowns so I hope it's still the same.
Yet despite those things, that didn't stopped me from cuddling things from time to time even if it's not as often as before.
