Ask her for her reasons. If you are still not satisfied, perhaps it will help to take the diagnostic criteria you are looking at and write beside each one how you feel you fit. She may be putting your manifestations down to something else. That has happened to many of us. And she may just be scared.

Maybe I'm being too blunt so I wouldn't go out and say this to her but maybe she's cheap. The diagnosis can cost money.

Maybe she's frugal. It can cost a *****LOT***** of money! Maybe you can ask her to ask the school if they have a psychiatrist that can give you a quick test!

maybe you can talk to your school counselors or something?

but you will ultimately have to discuss with your mother

Or, instead of asking her for a diagnosis, ask her to read the wikipedia definition of aspergers and then deal with helping you handle life as an aspie. That would get you where you want to go alot faster, cheaper, and simpler.
