No solution in over a month:

No this is not the only issue.

You have to tell us your actual issue. "Maintenance issues" could mean anything to anybody.

The sound on my computer isn't very good. I do see water damage and black mold all in the grout. There are different kinds of black mold, most aren't the "bad" kind that has dangerous health implications thankfully. We get black mold in our bathroom too. I've stayed in higher-quality hotels with moldy grout in the showers before, but not that kind of water leak/damage that the first floor bathroom has in the ceiling of course. Those things really ought to be fixed but, for better or worse, I can say for certain that a large number of people live in homes with those sorts of issues and don't think twice about it (I know my husband is in no hurry to fix the holes in our ceiling in the playroom that came from old water damage, for example. He says it's just cosmetic now that the leak is fixed and he'll get to it. Drives me nuts).

I'll go back and watch again and listen to as much as I can, because I probably missed something.

I'm not saying this shouldn't be fixed - the holes and water damage and leak in particular do need fixing. But it would be incredibly time consuming to remove all that old grout and redo it in the shower you showed at first. I'd just scrub it with a scrub brush and some bleach water if it was me, and if I felt like doing that kind of work (I really hate that kind of grunge cleaning though).

I would think in a group home one would expect better for sure, but then again I've never been in one so couldn't say what to realistically expect. I kind of fear that's a rather nice living situation compared to what might be found in many places, but I hope I'm wrong and hope that most places are wonderful, clean, and up to date. I'm just a little pessimistic about that though.

I'm sorry. I wasn't able to see the video until now.

Yeah...they should fix this!
