I've been waking at 5:30 AM no reason no job just "because" I check email write a to-do list prepare for my day despite family not getting started until 7ish or sometimes later on the weekends. Perhaps a good book etc. But while IMO I feel "good" "fine" with 5:30 wake up I feel more clumsy dropping things bumping into things like my brain is "off" It's so focused on OMG! functioning at that early of a time it takes away from motor skills it seems and I bump into things or drop stuff BANG! OUCH! (just bumped my hip into the door how I have no idea LOL!) I am trying to walk a mile around the neighborhood and listen to music I enjoy to keep my mood up and functioning ( I'm not in meltdown mode) I'm fine. Just the motor skills part of the brain seems "weak." Thanks.

Anyone relate??? Do you have times you're more clumsy?

9AM or 10AM I'm tired by 8PM YAWN! or OMG! meltdown stressed running to get all my chores done by the end of the day OMG!

Yeah, more clumsy. More inclined to stim...
Strangely enough, there have been days where I was tired, yet more social than usual.

I'm more clumsy when I'm tired, yes. I'm also more clumsy early in the mornings before I fully wake up (it takes a while) and sometimes when I'm stressed.

I think anyone on any spectrum who has limited sleep will in effect have difficulties in co-ordination.. Add caffeine to the mix and you will have clumsy mixed with high anxiety, as in my case! :) any more than 2 cups of freshly ground coffee in a day and i have to go home and lock the doors! haha... However, i used to be very sporty and had good co-ordination, but as soon as i was taken out of the sports mentality i would be tripping over my feet walking down the road, or accidentally walking into the corners of doors! funny ole world! :)

yes, i have had similar experiences, whether that is the effect of delirium being tired or the similar effect on the body as alcohol that makes you a little more social... who knows ;)

Way more clumsy, especially if less than 6 hours of sleep, or even having to wake up pryor to daylight with up to 8 hours. I'm always at my weakest around 6-7 AM regardless of how long I've slept.

My dyspraxia is really bad when I wake up and am so sleepy, that I need to be dressed and have my shoulders held onto so I don't crash into stuff.

I am always more clumsy when I am sleepy when I can't sleep I tend to screw up more. I have been sleeping less recently because I have been struggling with pain in my leg so I haven't been sleeping well hopefully I will be able to sleep better when I can take care of this pain.
