You realize those spotty bruises that look like finger marks on both forearms are from banging your forearms on your hip bones.

How about you?

If you suddenly realize that you've been moving and tapping to the rhythm of the music you're listening to for more than an hour.

When someone points it out. Actually often times I do notice myself but it's usually about a minute or so after I have started.

When someone asks if you've taken your anxiety medication this morning.

When you start singing or humming to the beat of your stimming.

... when your computer monitor is starting to rock slightly because your foot wriggling/tapping is escalating, causing your desk to vibrate. And when you abruptly stop your foot it feels all "buzzy".

When I get that light, slightly cool feeling on my tongue.

When people stare at me.

When people say "Oh! You have ADHD? That's why you're restless, then!"

When people put their hand on your knee and yell, "Stop moving!"

When people complain that my foot tapping is creating an earthquake.

When people see you stimming and say 'You must be happy today, moving all over like that."

LOL- when people say:

"What's wrong with you? Why are you doing that?"
And then back away slowly like they've smelled something rank but have no clue where it is coming from.

My mum tried to stop me from swinging my legs once in public. I'm not sure why she did that since she's normally tolerant of my stimming.
When people think you're trying to fly when you flap your arms or hands when you get excited.
