Being aware of the things that cause struggle helps

I find whoever I struggle with something or feel anxiety about something or have a meltdown, I find being aware about the situation of what and why helps. For example if I feel overwhelmed and become aware and realize I (a) feel overwhelmed and (b) because I'm tired (b) hungry (c) and Im in a hurry doing a project will help me feel less overwelmed.
