Going around a very limited basic physical area .
Do you find yourself doing that . Having a really msall physical area that you spend much of your time going back and forth among , a r4ally small area being much of where you go .
I think I noticed this about myself even before I was DX's Aspie ~ I am in a big , concentrated , city , I am homeless (don't always want to put myself for attention too much ) and sorta crippled
~ perhaps this contributes , but .
If I get some mental distraction , some reading (As I've mentioned , I don't really see TV at all anymore ~ Or radio music , either ) I seem to feel alright-
I recently noticed a few things. I recently became aware of things through online testing and seeking proper diagnosis at this time.
With that out of the way, this is what I've noticed.
If I'm working, or as you put it, mentally distracted, I'm sitting. But, I've become aware that I do swing back and forth in my chair when I stop to think. I do fidget a lot more than I realized.
If I'm on my phone, I pace a lot or stand and sway side to side. I also do the swaying when I'm taking a break and just lost in my own world.
If my hands are not busy, I do things like stroke my beard constantly, rub my eyes a lot. I always knew I did that. Just thought it felt good though. I also play with my buttons.
But, the pacing and swaying are things I really did not know.
