Starting to understand?
I've had therapists diagnose me as being on the spectrum, ados test and raads and others put me on the spectrum, but psychiatrists (I'm at least bipolar) don't acknowledge it or deny it. But now they are calling the emotional problem I had since I was a child meltdowns? My caseworker being in my home can really see my bird obsession, she said today "I bet you can't be around crowds?"
But I doubt and I doubt and I doubt... Even a diagnosis I doubt because I doubt the things I already an diagnosed with.
Should I just be happy being an aspie-esk person?

FINALLY diagnosed with ASD 2/6/2020
I really think we should be able to just be who we are without being pigeon-holed or pathologised. I sometimes think that these diagnostic labels are of more benefit to the 'normals' who can't understand or accept anything radically different from themselves. This culture, on one hand, encourages individualism while pushing homogenisation of everything so theres an ever narrowing window of how to be. As long as you are able to get by in the capitalist world I wouldn't be too concerned about your specific diagnosis and yes I think you shoul be happy just being a person.

To me you sound like an aspie. If you're okay with how things are now that's great but if you're not satisfied you should seek formal diagnosis.
