Kind of a funny experience for the hubby --

My husband had to go to a middle school meeting (I was out of town) for my son who will be entering middle school in the fall. This meeting was for all the special ed parents, to discuss how they will will handle any special needs.

Aside from being the only male parent, my husband noticed that almost every mother there was a red-head. Granted, not all the mothers there were mothers of kids on the autism spectrum, but still, it was a fairly interesting phenomena (I, too am a redhead).

Neither of my parents have red hair although they both carry the gene. Both parents have redheaded siblings. There is red in my hair and I have Auburn headed cousins. The next generation is full of redheads again regardless of the parents' hair color just as it was in my mother and father's generation.

My mum is a redhead. It's almost definitely just a coincidence, but it's quite an amusing one nonetheless. =]

I'm a redhead but it comes from a bottle. Nobody in my family has red hair.

No redheads in my family, but I always wished that I was a redhead. I did used to dye it, but it's too much of a pain to keep up with so I don't anymore.

Um... you can't vote "None of the above." So you're not going to get a very realistic overall picture.

Adopted so I don't know. All I know is my parents had black hair, I have brown. My mom is Indian and my dad was "North European Stock" which I assume to Norwegian (my looks). I imagine that I have red on my paternal side but have no idea. There are/were redheads in my in-laws' family. My son, weirdly enough is a strawberry blonde, red head when he hatched.

My Mom is a red-head. I've dyed my hair dark red before, but my hair is naturally VERY light blonde.
