I've wondered since I started working records for a busy pediatrics practice why "toe-walking" is considered a symptom. I get pain, runny nose, upset stomach, vomiting, bleeding and even facial tics as "symptoms."
But toe-walking? erk? Isn't that just a behavior that some kids do and most of them grow out of? Especially a little girl who wants to be a ballerina--of course she's going to toe-walk. That doesn't mean she necessarily has a personality disorder--does it?
