What sort of questions should I ask my friends and family if I suspect ASD but my self-perception is too poor to reflect accurately?.

Ask them if they notice that you are "odd" in social situations.

Ask them to refer you to an appropriately trained and licensed mental-health professional.

Well, if you want, you could ask one of them to fill out an autism rating scale, such as one of the ones on this site: http://www.autismresearchcentre.com/arc_tests.

If you're in high school or college, you probably have access to a psychologist who can help you explore further whether or not you have autism (at low/no cost to you).

Take care - I hope you do have access to the resources you need.

:D
