i know that i, personally, have had TONS of special interests! im a very passionate person! i miss some of the old things i was fixated to like dinosaurs, spongebob, schoolhouse rock, internet memes, monkeys, sesame street, and the list goes on! what are some interests you had as a kid that still has a place in your heart? any special interests you're embarassed about or relieved are gone?

Some old special interests of mine that I miss include The Dukes of Hazard, old country music, the wild west, Soviet Russia, England and the UK in general, LEGO, Playdough and Popsicle brand ice cream bars.

very cool!! play dough was a great sensory outlet for me when i was little, it feels and smells great! the only problem with it is that the colors mix into a really unappealing grey, haha!

Along with boardgames, LEGO has been a recurring interest of mine even into adulthood. Honestly, it's worse as an adult as I have money to drop on a set that should probably go towards something else, but I don't have someone around to tell me, "No." :D

Other childhood interests include computers and programming, Battle Beasts, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, various video games, and model rockets.

In some ways I don't think my interests as a child were as obsessional because Google and Wikipedia weren't really a thing yet. Magazines, catalogs, and a few books had to satisfy my needs for more info on my special interests. 'Research' is much easier now. :lol:
